Hi
I having problem picking up incoming WhatsApp call for my Samsung S10+ even though it is connected via Bluetooth to my car.
Normal incoming call is OK, except for incoming WhatsApp call.
I have try with other phone like iphone 6+ and even Samsung S8+, both work fine in picking up the incoming Whatsapp call.
Had called the Samsung Chats service, and try the following reset method below, but it still does not work
- Soft reset on device
- Network reset Setting
- Reset Apps Preferences
Anyone facing the same problem, can advise what to do?
Thanks

Same here on my note 20 ultra. Can only pick up WhatsApp calls via the phone screen. On the car it looks like it's already picked up so it can't "pick it up" again.

My CRV won't accept WhatsApp calls from my S10+ - it also annoyingly will auto answer even when switched to off, but I have to constantly press transfer to hear it through my car audio system - drives me mad as it defeats the object of being able to screen calls and also automatically transfer if required. Didn't have this problem with the S8.

It is a shame that Samsung doen't do anything with this important issue.
It is incredible! I have buds and I can answer Whatsapp calls from Iphone but I can't answer from S20 Ultra.
Definitely I am thinking to come back to Iphone.

Seemingly Samsung feel unable to comment on this issue - I have the same problem with my S7 when connected to my Range Rover - come on Samsung respond even if you say its a problem with the blue-tooth version on our cars of course with valid evidence.

I have a Galaxy S22 Ultra and I have had this problem for several years. It is not isolated to Whatsapp though, it appears to be any third party app that can be used for making calls. I use Cisco Webex for work, and messenger and whatspp and they all experience the exact same issue.
When a call comes in from one of these apps, my car screen suggests an incoming call has been answered and the number the call comes in from ... is my own mobile number. My only option is to end the call, which I guess is why I can't answer the call.
If I click answer on the phone itself, it all works as expected and the call is on my cars speakers/mic and I can hang up from the steering wheel. I just can't answer calls.
I don't get this issue if it is just a regular call through my service provider to my mobile.
I don't think it is the phone at fault, I believe it is the Android OS which is the issue, if you read forums around the web, many users talk about this exact issue but not always with cars, but bluetooth earbuds and headphones etc.
