Caller id and spam protection

My phone wont allow me turn on caller Id and spam protection I have contacted Samsung they didn't know why I have also contacted my network and they couldn't help

Further to above, I believe when I disabled battery optimisation in settings/apps/hiya that I was prompted to download app referred to above

It's a different setting. In your phone "app" go to settings, then CALL settings, then from that menu click on "supplementary services". There the 1st option is "show my caller ID", you can change it from network default to hide. Just don't forget to change it back because none of your friends will answer "private number" (it would say when you place calls). I hope this helps.

I have that option greyed out in my phone too too. I have a Note 10+ (SM-N975U1) which I ordered from the US, and I'm using it from Latin America.

Some posts say that it might be to region restriction or maybe my network carrier doesn't support that feature... Anyway, the only solution that really seems to work (according some posts in the web) is to flash the firmware with Odin, but I'm afraid to even try it since I believe it might create conflicts with Samsung Knox or another security feature within the phone.

Register your number with tps It's free and easy to use, the telephone preference service is the UK only official do not call Register for mobile and Landline numbers, it allows you to opt out of receiving unsolicited live sales and marketing calls ( their words) basically its the same as the opt out you can do with royal mail which stops you getting junk mail.

Dear all, I have a S10 (SM-G973F) branded by the Italian TIM. Few months ago I flashed the last no brand firmware (ITV), by Odin. Since this update, the caller ID spam protection option is greyed out, I cannot enable it.

Probably the no brand firmware do not match some TIM settings on the phone. 

Is there any solution to enable the spam protection option?
