Caller id and spam protection

My phone wont allow me turn on caller Id and spam protection I have contacted Samsung they didn't know why I have also contacted my network and they couldn't help

Before it worked on my phone, but after i updated it to Android 10 the spam protection was greyed out.

I too have a Note10+ and am not seeing this setting available!  I did find an app called "Smart Call" when I searched for Apps and I enabled permissions on it.  Restarted phone... Still did not work! 😞

I have the same problem on my SM-G973F with the latest available software installed. I cannot enable the "Caller ID and spam protection" feature. It's greyed out. So why Samsung is implementing or showing features on a phone when I cannot even use them ? Its very annoying since I frequently receive foreign spam calls.

I got the s20 and the caller id spam protection was greyed out but I searched for the smart call app in my phone allowed the notifications and its working no problems at all, I tried this so many times with my s10 im baffled as to why it would not work

I have s10 from UK and spam protection was greyed out. I flashed firmware (with Odin) from Sweden (you can find firmware on Sammobile), and now I have spam protection on. You can find tutorials how to use Odin on YouTube.

You can download Hiya call id and block app, and set hiya as default phone app. Not sure how i got prompted to download it, maybe from within hiya in settings/apps
