Today when I connected to my bluetooth speaker, the voulme bar for the bluetooth shows up at the top of the screen and does not go away.  I am unable to pull down the notification menu from the top of the screen when this happens and it also will not allow me to control the volume of the speaker using the volume keys on the phone.  It will only go away when I disconnect from my bluetooth speaker.  I tried the Disable absolute volume "fix" but that didn't work.  Any ideas?  Thanks.Screenshot_20200504-102123_One UI Home.jpg

Try turning off your device while the headset is connected. Then, once you reboot, connect the device again. See if this works. If not, try this:

Make sure your Bluetooth device is disconnected from your Samsung smartphone. I then would like you to keep pressing on volume keys, so that the volume bar stays open. While it is on your screen, connect your Bluetooth device. Now, see if this helps.

Were you ever able to fix this?  I'm having the identical issue.  I've done one factory reset which seemed to fix the problem temporarily.  It came back in a couple days, however.

The exact same thing is happening to me and has been for a couple months. Before it would happen when connected to my car, or bluetooth speakers.  But now I have a galaxy watch and its constant. Its driving me nuts,  I've tried the things above it doesn't seem to be an outside device issue, it's any bluetooth device that is connected.  Help its driving me nuts.
