When I call from my car using my bluetooth connected S10 the other person hears crackers and it sounds like a tunnel. 2016 Traverse. This seems to happen in my other Chevy Cruise as well. Other phones we have do not show this problem in either car. It follows the phone. All settings in phone are default. Need help as people have trouble understanding me on calls.

I'm having this exact same issue with my Galaxy Note 20 Ultra and Galaxy Buds Live. Initially when the crackling started a few weeks after I started using the phone, both music/videos and calls were crackling. I managed to get into Developer options in settings and changed the Bluetooth audio code to AAC. That seemed to fix the music/video crackling on Bluetooth devices but Bluetooth call audio was still crackling...

However, I opened Apps from settings and went to system apps, cleared data/cache for Bluetooth and BluetoothTest apps and Bluetooth call audio worked fine but only for some time.. Seems like a software issue. Hopefully it'll be fixed with the Android 11 update!

Any luck on fixing this issue?...I have been having the same problems on my galaxy s10+  I have tried various "solutions" online up to and including factory resetting my phone 4 times and still no luck.  I just got the update this morning for Android 11 hoping it would fix the issue but it did not fix
