bad Sound quality of s10plus

Recently i bought a samsungs10 plus device and I'm quite happy with all the features other than the sound quality of the device. When I plugged in the provided AKG earbuds and play some music in the built in music player and some other 3rd party players, I get dissapointed with the sound quality which it produced. It is low in bass. even i tried configuring the sound settings by enabling/disabling Dolby Atom and equalizer(which is very poor than previous galaxy S series devices) but I was ended up with nothing. I have the same experience with other earbuds with the same device.

then I tried PowerAmp and I have find that it is quite useful and powerful equalizer in there and able to tune it up to my expectations. but without poweramp, the default sound quality stay as same as previous.

Is there anyone who is going through the same problem. I hope Samsung will fix this (hopefully a powerfull equalizer) in coming up updates.

I find the same about the bass. I also think the volume is entirely too low whether on headphones or bluetooth.  Even turned all the way up, it's clear in the system settings they have the volume set very low.

Feel exactly the same, my S8 sound quality was 100 times better than the S10+, everything else about the phone is excellent. I'm just wondering if the poor sound quality is just from the packaged AKG Buds?? Hope so.

I agree to the above user's feedback. Notwithstanding adusting the Equalizer, quality of music effect on S10 plus is worse than S7 and S9 that I had been using in the last few years. Also, equalizer features on S10 plus are less than previous models'. Hope Samsung will look into this and privide improved version update quickly. The other comment is about maximum music output. Same as S9, music output headset (both Samsung and non-Samsung headsets) is low despite maximum volume is set.

I have problems with low max volume too with bluetooth headphones -- many types tried, everything is the same and withouth PowerAmp and everything on max (EQ, preamp, limiter off), this phone (in my case S10e) is just useless for listening music with in-ear headphones on bike for example.

On-ear wireless headphones (for me Audio-Technica ATH-SR5BT) are +- acceptable after disabling absolute volume in development opt. and some EQ and preamp tuning.

Over-ears wireless - just tested Sony WH-XB900N - and max volume is absolute bad joke for me!! Just sending them back to seller.

Anything on wired connection -- this is not applicable for years, used external FiiO headphones amplifier for long time.

I blame neo-communists in EU with thery f*cking regulatory *****s!

If there was another option, I will be never buy Android phone again. Just only because of this, it is pissing me off for years.  But you know how it is with monopoly...  and iPhone is not valid option for me.

My partner's Galaxy S10 is almost twice as loud as my Galaxy S10 5G.

We tested this on brand new phones and playing the same YouTube video.

I enjoy most aspects of my S10 5G but the sound volume isn't one of them.

It's been quite some time since I stopped depending on a phone's internal parts for good audio. I bought a mini DAC/AMP (I went for Creative's X-Fi DAC/AMP) and never looked back again.

Most of the manufacturers don't pay serious attention to the audio part of their handsets anymore.

I was sad at first facing the same issue on a newer model but fixed simply then.

Try to use the larger silicone ear tips included in the package. When the headphones fit tight, no air can escape around the tips, then the AKG plays very well.
