August 2020 S10 Samusng Update Issues: Default home app

After the August update I no longer can select a default launcher. It's prompts me no matter how many times I select always. I've tried selecting the default home app within Android settings, wiped cache partition, uninstalled/reinstalled buzz launcher. No luck with anything. Super annoying everytime I hit the home button I get the promt. I've never had this issue before. Any one else have this issue?

What happens if you go into Safe Mode i.e will it allow the launcher to work at all ? Might not.

I'm not sure if a factory reset would help @Dmk1928  or contact the developer of that launcher to ask them.

You could  also send a bug report to Samsung.

I tried that but then I can't use the launcher. I just found out that buzz launcher is no longer supported in the play store so I can't ask them. I'm able to choose other defaults on my phone like the browser but for some reason it won't remember the default launcher. This has never happened before. It was something to do with that update. I really don't want to factory reset my phone.
