some apps on my phone are not opening or crashing , what can I do to sort this .

Hi all, Google has produced a fix which basically involves updating Android System Webview and Google Chrome.  See more on this thread and there is a link on the right hand  side of this thread (Related content)   https://eu.community.samsung.com/t5/galaxy-s21-series/permanent-fix-for-app-crashes-available/td-p/3...   A temporary fix also there if that does not work.    Any remaining problems please report on that thread.
