Anyone experiencing issued with Android Auto?

I can no longer hear messages sent to me and I cannot use the in car controls to activate the Google Assistant?

Been unable to connect AA from either S8+ or now brand new S10 5G to my 2016 Corsa past 6-8 weeks after 2yrs working ok! So no music or Google Maps available any more! Any news from Google, Samsung or Vauxhall? Lost without it!

@bwestwood: Sorry to hear that you're having these issues. If you're connecting via USB cable, please can you try establishing a Bluetooth connection, or vice versa, to see if this helps?

I set up AA 2yrs ago with my S8+ to 2016 Corsa via USB cable & Bluetooth - and it all worked reasonably well until 6-8 weeks ago, when, despite AA still opening ok on my phone itself (now a new S10 5G in attempt to get round chronic AA connection (lack of!) issues) but simply won't go to 'Projection' within Vauxhall Intellilink software as it had done for 2 years!

I rang Vauxhall who confirmed that most of their customers were experiencing similar issues with AA, also Google (their app!) and Samsung when I rang them all!

So, despite having had loads of suggestions of adjusting phone settings (e.g. USB Debugging, clear cache, etc ec) I'm still unable to connect to my Corsa!

I can no longer therefore use Google Maps and have had to dig out my old TomTom device when travellingto unknown destinations - DREADFUL situation?

So, who is actually going to solve this major AA issue please - and why has it suddenly ceased functioning in car anyway? Someone must know why surely?

Oh yes, bluetooth works fine to - can actually play music to car via bluetooth, but only one tune at a time - and have to handle phone (S10 5G) at same time, so not handsfree - so also useless!
