Hi everyone,

yesterday i was happy to fine a new system update for my Galaxy S20 +  but after downloading it my  micro SD card started dismounting and i had to restart to get it back. After restarting it would stay for one or two hours than disappear again. i removed it and put it back in but the same issue. and it kept getting worse till now it totally disappeared even after restarting not coming back. FYI it is encrypted and has all photos and recordings.

any ideas?

Thanks

I usually advise to remove a sd card before carrying out any software update @MK2020

If you insert the sd card into another phone what happens then ?

The sd card may have corrupted on it's own and not from the process of the software update.

You could also try hooking up the card to a computer and use any relevant software to access it.

It's always a good idea to create at least a secondary back up just in such as Dropbox etc.

I wish you all the best with this.
