The adaptive brightness is a neat feature but so far its a bit of hit and miss. It always seems to lower the brightness just 20% more than I would like.
Not the programs fault because I do like the screen to be on the brighter side.
It does go to correct levels when outdoors and exposed to light. Its just that in the dark it really kills the screen.
Does me sliding the comand tab and adjusting the brightness manually (via notficiation bar) make it learn my habbits? Does it get better eventually thru my corrections?

edit; there may be adaptive but no evidence it works regardless of any source.
I periodically needing to adjust manually by double tapping AOD clock and from there adjust manually without unlocking device.
