4G and 5G speed slower since November update

Both my son and myself have the same Vodaphone 5G contract. Yet since the last security update on my S10 5G I am now only getting 20 mbs on 4G speedtest whereas my son is still getting 55 mbs. We are in the same room in the same house. Has the November update broken the download speed. I have rebooted, wiped cache, reset network settings etc. All to no avail.

I've read that some are experiencing some issues with WiFi connection @Pritpal but not so much with mobile data connection issues.

 

This is possibly your masts and even tho the parameters are as you say both phones can connect differently.

 

Something I read on the Vodafone UK forum "Phones do not latch onto the strongest signal.They follow the network assigned procedure, hence why it's not uncommon to be connected to a weaker signal than is strictly available "

It is very kind of you bro to reply. thank you. I am a techie myself and hence was just completely baffled by it. I only noticed it after the November update so assumed it to be that. I will try driving around as it used to give 60mbs in most places in Manchester to see if it is my mast. Thanks again.
