Hi I've just got the Samsung galaxy note 9 and when I finished setting it up it states there is only 3gb ram left is that normal as I don't leave anything running  in the background

Which model of Note 9 do you have @Numberoneaunty  ?

 

For example immuzing the Note 9 with 512Gb of storage so has 8Gb of Ram.

 

The OS will take some ram.up as it's being used and so much is held back i.e. Reserved for background processes etc.

 

You can opt to clean up Ram via the Device Care section. 

 

I like to think of it this way.

 

Unused Ram is wasted Ram.   :winking-face:
