Finder search note 9 pie +oneUi

I have just updated to android pie and the one ui on my note 9, i am disappointed to find that i can no longer search and locate installed apps like i could before, i really hope im just being stupid and its a setting i have missed. Any help would be appreciated

This worked for me:

 

- Finder Settings -> Turn off "Show suggested apps"

Turn off all apps on finder settings>manage apps

The finder not works at all in this way

This worked. Go to "Galaxy Store", push the three dots at the top right, press "My Page", then press "Update", then "Update All".

Clearing data in the finder app worked for me -

 

Settings > apps > finder > storage > clear data > ok

Hi All

Samsung Galaxy s8. Same problem.

I've changed Gboard (the one I was using bofere Pie update) to Samsung keyboard. 

And this has worked!   Switched back to Gboard after -  works fine.

This worked for me on a Note 8. No need to reset phone
