Galaxy Note9 Series

I temporarily used my husband's phone and installed WhatsApp. I didn't back up my chat history so lost it. Annoying but my error. The issue I have is I have his chat history on my WhatsApp account. Can anyone help explain this? Presume something in the phone settings and back up but i can't see where and how to fix. Thanks

Maybe try uninstalling whats app, re-install and set it up again with your number and when prompted to restore a back up say no. That should remove his messages.
