Strange charging issue on Note 9

Note 9 does not charge when device is on, but charges perfectly when device is off. Gone through all of the suggestions regarding cables, chargers, port, etc. None of the suggested changes work. Has anyone else had this problem?

Never had that problem, the only thing I can suggest is to wipe phone cache first if not wipe everything and start over, flash latest firmware.

would also suggest checking the health of your battery too
