Regional Unlock Code

Can anyone tell me if UK and Cyprus are classed as different regions.

If they are, where can I get the Regional Unlock Code.

@Mike64: Yes, the UK and Cyprus would be classed as different regions. To unlock your Galaxy Note9 for use outside its intended region, you would be required to make a 5-10 minute cumulative call to a local number from inside the country of origin, using a SIM card from a network in that country. So, if the Note9 was purchased in the UK, then you would need to make a 5-10 minute call to a local number in the UK, using a UK network SIM. I hope this helps.

I am puzzled, I had used the Note 9 in the UK for a few years and Spain for 2 years using a UK SIM roaming
It's only when I removed the UK SIM and replaced it with a Cyprus SIM that I am getting Invalid SIM notification, bearing in mind my new phone accepts both UK and Cyprus SIM cards.
