I'm having no issues with Pie 9 one ui. It's faster and smoother than 8.1. I'll be staying

I'd agree with you but I am using 9.0nfrom Grant and I don't have any issues at all, didn't see an app which is not compatible (and this is Google's problem, not Samsung) apart from Good Lock but some stuff from good lock was build into new UI so not a problem at all. And I really like One UI it's nice and smooth. And basically the design of system is not so important for me while most of the stuff I do in apps, not in the phone settings.

And the newest information is that Pie will be released officially in all countries in March. Same with S9.

@Tez6872 yes, all Apple phones are getting updates on same which means, in Apple world that they all get bugs on same day. Every Apple update brings plenty of bugs, every bug fix brings more and more and this is neverending story. I do have an iPhone as 2nd phone and to be honest - it's a *****.

By the new information it will be March, I saw that yesterday on Reddit.

But

Today more countries received 9.0

Luxembourg

Bangladesh

and Thailand - phones message from 3 different networks in that countries are already Pie. Even one of the network operators from my home country updates his phones to Pie on 13th of January (Poland - Play).

Unlocked phones in UK? Nothing.

To be honest - it's quite ridiculous that exotic countries are getting this first

Don't worry about that, I did it straight after it was released and I was using beta just after update.zip was available during the beta program. It's not the point, I'm not talking only on my behalf but all users awaiting official updated. Don't you think it's quite odd that countries like Bangladesh, Kenya etc. are getting it just like that but users in UK are still on 8.1?

I don't mean it this way that mentioned countries are worse or anything like that but nobody will make me think that these markets are bigger and there was more Note 9 units sold over there. Just trying to understand the whole process. Software is ready, there's no bugs or anything like that.
What's funny - Note 8 users can join the beta program and they can get Pie using the official source, Note 9 users cannot.

I've just switched to the Note 9 from the S9+, where I was doing the Beta testing.

There isn't anything to get too excited about. The new look is fine, although some of the new icons look really dated to me.

I'm kind of ok just now, used the One UI on the S and now getting to grips with the Note, which much of feels new to me.

That being said, I thought it would have been released today,  it's usually a Sunday/Monday release.
