it must be the Huawei Mate 20 Pro, as i cant think of any other huaweI device that can compete with the Note 9!

Yes, must that one. An inscreen sensor that is difficult to use, a screen that can bleed green and and a basic UI. A good phone I'm told. I hope Samsung can throw in a few bells and whistles to keep us all happy. A foldable Note would be nice, but I hope it doesn't keep breaking the S Pen.

Just been on xda forum and i see note 8 is getting a update to the new firmware 

Note 9 in the uk still nothing whats going on

This would be for the Beta for the Note 8, @Tez6872 (with the full release for that particular model arriving in March). The full version is scheduled for release this month for the Note9.

Here is the roadmap for the One UI (not the beta) which can be found through the Members app.

What's wrong in UK that in last few years it's one of the last countries in Europe to get updates? It's like that since S6 as far as I remember. Don't get me wrong, but countries like Nepal or Kenya are already on official 9.0 but UK still 8.1, there was no beta too. It's a big and rich market where Samsung is selling much more phones than in other countries (you can check the list of countries that already got 9.0 - it's exotic) but the updates are coming almost always as last.is there any reason for that?

I have been away from samsung for over 4 years

Been with apple this makes be think i should of stayed with them at least when apple release a update everone gets it at the same time

@ Kondek85 Your not missing much trust me SAMSUNG has rushed this ONE UI PIE 9 update my note 9 feels a bit sluggish i have turned off recent apps to help speed it up.. Plus some apps are not compatible with PIE 9 like good lock i'm going to downgrade back to Oreo 8.1 as it rocks!

ONE UI feels so boring like everything is so simple also  themes of the SAMSUNG theme store they do not work with night mode witch is stupid!

other issue i restarted my note 9 the other night it kind of hung up it booted but there was no icons no apps showing just a blank home screen i had to force restart to fix it PIE 9 ONE UI is buggy what is SAMSUNG playing at why give us a update witch is not polished off ?
