Galaxy Note9 SeriesHi everyone. I have upgraded from the Note 8 and the first thing I noticed when taking a picture with the rear cameras was a very distinctive click noise when I open the Camera app.
It is also present when the camera is used by any other app. Is this normal?
My only logical explanation is that the sounds is made by the dual aperture ( which is not present on the Note 8 ) adjusting when the camera is turned on. Should I be worried ?
Thanks

Galaxy Note9 SeriesHi @MadalinK
Yes there is a slight click when launching the Note 9 camera app.
It's nothing to worry about.
It's the same on my own Note 9.
Daily Driver > Samsung Galaxy s²³ Ultra 512Gb in Phantom Black.
The advice I offer is my own and does not represent Samsung’s position.
I'm here to help. " This is the way. "

Galaxy Note9 SeriesThis is the shutter, when you open the camera it opens or closes depending on the light condition. If you hear that click that is good information, it means it works

Galaxy Note9 SeriesNo problem You can check that by going to Pro Mode and switching the aperture from 2.4 to 1.5 and opposite, you'll hear the same noise

Galaxy Note9 SeriesI came across the internet and found this while I searched it. I think it is normal. When I launch the camera (from the camera app or any other application) there is the sound made by a camera variable aperture. It is the sound with three syllables, click, click and click.
