Note 9 is not compatible with Note 10 backup - Iris Scanner Block Goes Blank/Dark

This is to report a bug when restoring backup of Note 10+ onto Note 9.  Since Note 10+ doesn't have the iris scan feature it impacts on Note 9 in such a way that the rectangle area of iris scanner stays dark/black on the screen unless and until you reboot the device. Once Note 9 is rebooted it starts to work good

I am assuming that we need to get some fix or some path for people who are using Note 9 down grading from Note 10+

Any ideas, suggestion?

Have you tried to remove iris scan and the re register your eye?

Alternative i would adivse you to manually backup all your important data and then proceed with a hard reset ad manually import photos ecc.. from your pc.
