Hi,

How someone can help.  I've just bought the note 9 and am having problems with the Samsung email app sending me notifications of emails very delayed. For example, today I received all my pushed emails at approximately ten pm. But the emails were from all day, ranging from 8am in the morning till 9pm.

Any help would be appreciated.

This has probably got more to do with your network signal strength or mast congestion than the actual app or phone @Farhaan

You could check how frequently hiw often your phone checks the servers of your email provider and find out if your email provider provides fetch or push.

The advice I offer is my own and does not represent Samsung’s position.

My emails sync quickly. In fact I receive them on the Note 9 first then Outlook on my pc 15 seconds later.

I find problems with text. My family have iphones and recieve text fair quicker than me on my Note 9. We are all on the same network. This has been an ongoing problem with my Samsung phones. Messages tend to be 30 mins to 3 hours later.

I am having the same issue. Cannot get notifications to push through at all and only get them when I go into the app.

Set frequency to auto, no power saving on, uninstalled, restarted phone but no luck.

Anyone else having this issue since the pie update?

Hi All,

I managed to get mine sorted by turning off adaptive battery.

Settings / device care / battery / battery settings (3 dots) / adaptive battery

Hope this helps
