Hi, ( the title is supposed to read 'pitched' not 'picture')
I've had my Note 9 since December 2018, there is some very minimal casing damage on the sides (terrible design by the way, it's been scraped/scratched by my work jacket zip) but no other visible damages.
Yesterday when switching apps the phone would make a high pitched noise, not a notification sound just a squeal. This happened with all apps stock and loaded. I did the usual, turned it off and on and that resolved the issue. However today, it has started to do it again. The phone is also in mute mode, so shouldn't be making any noise.
My software etc is all up to date with the latest versions available to the phone and I have not loaded any new apps etc onto it for some time.
Has anyone ever experienced this before? Should I try to get it repaired now while I still have my networks warranty?

What happens if you put the phone in Safe Mode @Redbird2259 ?
As a very last resort back up and remove any relevant Sd card and factory reset is the next step.
And then yes if it continues seek support via the warranty.
I wish you all the best with this situation.
