Problem: Galaxy Note 9 is no longer Play Protect Certified after last February update.

Model: SM-960F

One UI: 2.5

Android: 10

Android security patch: 1 February 2021

Carrier: EE

No changes to bootloader/root etc.

Last update 4 March 2021

Apps that no longer show as ‘installed’ as they have updates and state:

“This app is no longer compatible with your device. Contact the developers for more info.”

Disney+ (no longer usable as requires update), Netflix

In Google Play Store settings it shows:

Play Protect certification - Device is not certified

Device GSF ID is registered on Google’s Device Registration page. Tried deleting data and cache for google play store and google play services. No luck.

Any suggestions?

Factory Reset? I know a lame answer and pain in the rear. What about clear partition by accessing android menu with hard keys?

Did you manage to get your device certified?

I have noticed the same problem now, when I have tried using Google Pay (which was enabled in my country today). The device is not certified. Is there any fix for this?
