Clear view cover time stays the same

When I close the cover it displays the current time. However that time stays the same until I open the cover again. So if I close it at say 3:30 but don't open it again till 5 it will still say 3:30. It will only chane when I open it.

When you applied the case does it invoke any relevant settings ?

As a process of elimination can you try your case on another phone  ?

Can you try another case on your phone ?

Was the case supplied by Samsung ? i.e is it definitely an original ?

Unfortunately looking at results from a Google Search there does to be some inherent issues with this particular case !
