If i took my phone in to store would they be able to tell me if my phone is still ip68 water resistant

What's making you think it's lost that integrity @Atkinson1 ?

But Yes a Samsung Experience Store or Samsung Service Centre would be able to check the phone over when they re open after the COVID-19 pandemic lockdown is eased.

Ive bought the device second hand from cex and im really bad with dropping my phones in the bath wen i play my games on it and would rather be sure so if i can get it water resistant if it isnt im safe and dont have to pull out another £400

Ah i see.

Do remember though it's only water resistant and not water proof.

So if water does manage to get into the phone the manufacturer warranty wouldn't apply.

Personally I'd invest in a good water proof case or just not use it in the bath
