I have a sim-free Snapdragon N9860 and the updates seem to have stopped. Last patch was 1st June 2021

The last update caused a marked drop in battery life so would like it resolved ASAP.

Samsung UK can't help with out of region updates. I did check and it is correct there hasn't been a July update for Hong Kong devices.

Try using a VPN or back up your stuff and then reset your phone. Hope this helps.

How does resetting my phone help?

I've never needed a VPN for any previous updates, and I'm on the current latest version

Just wanting to find out where the 1st July update has gone?

A factory reset won't help as this just takes the phone back to the last successful software update @kradcliffe

I'm also using a N20 Ultra 5G Snapdragon version and am on the June update.

Sometimes updates can be a little bit longer with an imported phone so it's a case of keep checking the software update section of your phone, as I am also.

It'll come.

@BandOfBrothers are you noticing worse battery life lately or is it just me?

I enabled 5g and got a Galaxy watch 3 but can't imagine those to be the culprits?

5G is a known battery resource hog on the phone @kradcliffe

In Settings and Connections I don't have 5G enabled.

My o2 Payg tariff does not include 5G at this time and for what 5G brings to the table i.e faster File downloads it's not a deal breaker for me.

4G and 4G + is fast enough for my surfing and downloading habits.

I have a Samsung Gear s3 Frontier Watch connected via Bluetooth all day which hasn't noticeably affected my usage time's.

To be honest I haven't noticed any noticeable battery loss.

@BandOfBrothers Thanks for that. I tried switching off 5g last night and it seems to be back to normal now. Thanks for your help.
