I live in the UK however will be going on holiday soon to the US.
If I bought a US version note 20 ultra whilst over there would I continue to get updates and security updates back in the UK on the device?
Cheers.

Yes @Rks9121 you'll still get the updates however they maybe slower than normal.
Also as Samsung phones have a Region Lock you'll need to deal with that while your in the States.
Region Lock.
"All current Samsung phones come with an active regional lock when first bought. Assuming it's not also locked to a specific network, using a SIM from the same regional origin as the phone for at least 5 minutes of total talktime will disable the regional lock and allow you to use a SIM from any other region from then on."
You may need to change some preferences settings i.e Playstore and I'm not sure if Samsung Pay will work in the Uk as it's an imported phone however Google Pay should.
Check the Samsung Manufacturing Warranty T&C's from the country of purchase / origin to see if you'll be able to recieve support from the Samsung Uk division if something goes wrong with the phone.

The advice I offer is my own and does not represent Samsung’s position.
