My last Samsung was a Note9 in June 2021 that I passed to my boyfriend. Prior to then, I had backed up all my photos, messages, calendar etc.
During this stupid transfer, my photos were completely purged and only 2% of those photos transferred to OneDrive, all others lost. BUT, messages, notes, contacts were still present.
Confirming that messages had in fact been synced, I restored the phone and gave it to my BF as I was going to iPhone.
Now that I recently acquired a Note20 Ultra, I CANNOT find any of the backups I've had from my Note9 - it has not even been a year and a half and everything is gone. All my important messages, photos, notes from loved ones. Data, including files - like what the actual F**K Samsung!!!!!! Why are you doing this?????
