Had my device for 3 weeks now - haven't been out much and have had the device in a folding cover.

The screen now has several scratches and what looks like a 'scuff mark' - frankly it looks awful.

Never had this problem with any other device, my note 8 was crystal clear after 4 years.

Frankly I do not believe this glass is an upgrade or even up to the job.

I tried a screen protector, even though its now too late, but it rendered fingerprint detector inoperable.

Anyone any suggestions?

have you take off the original screen protector yet, that could be scratch, just pill it off then you be fine, also most phone case do scratch your phone, because of dust and sand get in between and and cause the damage, that why I dont bother withhone case any more just left my phone naked

I initially was upset that the end panels on my Note 20 Ultra were scratched.  I was also unaware that the end panels were covered with protective plastic.

My only defense is age and failing eyesight. 😀

Which country are you in @Drdarnoc  ?

I ask as the N20 Ultra phones supplied to European Countries have a factory fitted Tpu plastic screen protector and needs removing before another is fitted.

Hi .
might there of been a small piece of sand or grit cougt in the folding case that scratched the screen.
Whitestone dome screen protector is very good and works with finger print scanner with no issues.

It's quite hard to see if a person isn't aware one is on.

Just please delete this joke of a thread. Can't tell if the phone came with a screen protector attached or not? No problem at all.

Just don't use bold thread-subjects not until you gain enough experience to understand what's going on or how the device is packaged to the customer.
