I purchased 2 Galaxy Note Ultras for my wife and I on Aug 31st, 2020. My wifes was delivered 4 days later and mine was delivered 9 days later. I was able to redeem the buds for my wifes phone, however when I registered my phone the promotion wasn't there anymore. I got on the chat with a Samsung representative and "Harry" was very rude and would not do anything to assist me in receiving what I am entitled to. I understand that the promotion may have ended without notice, but the issue is prior to purchasing the phone I called Samsung to ensure I would receive the buds knowing that the phones wouldn't be delivered for 5 to 10 days. The Samsung rep indicated that I had until the end of September to redeem the buds but now they will not honor them.
I've been on the phone with them for 2 hours so far this morning and they went back and listened to the call recorded and confirmed the Samsung agent stated I had until the end of September to redeem the air buds. They still are not honoring what their agent told me, proceed with caution if you ever decide to deal with Samsung, they're crooks.
I am currently on the phone with them and they listened to my initial call before I purchased the phones and they confirmed the agent stated I had until the end of September, yet they are doing nothing.
I will admit the agent I am dealing with is being patient and I can tell his hands are tied due to poor management I would assume, but I refuse to get off the phone until the send me what I am entitled to. I will phone them everyday and tie an agent up for 8 hours a day until they ship the buds.
disgusting, scamsung are gone awful, ill never buy a phone or TV from them again, scamsung give a **** poor service when you're unhappy with an expensive purchase but hey they have your money so they don't care
Day 2 on the phone with Samsung, I will not rest until I receive my buds live. The rep today is quite ignorant and isn't helping much at all, I explained all my details from the previous day and he promised a call back, I refused a call back because I will tie up a rep everyday until they send me my buds. We are just sitting on the phone listening to eachother breathe at the moment.
If the original rep overstepped their remit and advised something that was wrong but has been shown to have advised this via the call recording then in my opinion Samsung should do something as a Goodwill Gesture.
If the agent(s) your speaking with do not have the needed authorisation then ask them to provide an email address etc to someone who can.
Such as a senior management member or even the CEO although you probably wouldn't get through to departmental CEO but instead one of their PA's.
My N20 Ultra was delivered late so by emailing the Uk Samsung Online Shop Team they supplied a Discount Code that I added to the appropriate field when making a purchase so it is possible for them to give an appropriate discount code to be able to buy some Buds Live.
You just need the right person to be able to do this.
