Hello all.

I am trying to set up Samsung Pay on my Note 20 Ultra and having an issue.

My bank is not supported on Samsung Pay so I am attempting to get the Samsung Pay card by Curve. When going through the setup I add my card and address fine but for whatever reason the app won't accept my mobile number, it says this number is not valid... How can that be the case?

Anybody had or seen this before?

Hey @Matty8787 ,

are you using the prefix for the country? If so, you should remove the 0 before your phone number.

Hi TessM,

I have tried removing the 0 and I still get the same error.

Can I ask you if you are based in the UK? Where did you get the phone from?

Have you tried to register to this via any other device to see if this is still happening?

I have not got another device I could use unfortunately, I shall keep troubleshooting and update if I find a reason.

Are you trying to register via any of the apps (Samsung Pay or Curve) or the website?

I am trying to do it via the Samsung Pay app itself.

you have to register a curve account which gives you a virtual mastercard which is linked to your bank card, I recently worked this out myself and its bang on 👍
