All my previous oneplus phones had good reception but since changing  to a Note 20 ultra I find it bad.  At work I can't get a signal now and at home It's very weak.  My network hasn't changed,  I've just moved back to samsung.

Is there anything that can be done?

take or send your handset to a Samsung repair centre ,I've got the ultra 512gb and 512gb sd card ,its as fast as lightning, super good reception ,may I also suggest you ask your network about their 5g upgrades as these involve turning off huge swathes of the network ,it also affected network 3 which mostly co site with ee .

I'm on virgin media which is part of ee so I'll could try asking them. I think if I put my sim card back in my old phone, that will give me an instant verification though S I can run speed test.

I only get minimum signal with this phone unless I'm outside.

Hi @RacyJace

In your phone's connection settings try choosing 2G/3G /4G/ auto to see if that improves things and if necessary go into the reset section in your phone, and reset network settings.

I had a N20 Ultra 5G Exynos version from Samsung UK and had to send that back due to similar issues and ended up buying the N20 Ultra 5G Snapdragon version instead and is exemplary at connection.

From a Radio Engineer person i follow on Twitter.

"Phones do not latch onto the strongest signal. They follow the network assigned procedure, hence why it's not uncommon to be connected to a weaker signal than is strictly available "

The advice I offer is my own and does not represent Samsung’s position.
I'm here to help. " This is the way. "

I have the same problems. My previous all the Mate phone was doing great. So any solution for my current N20 Ultra 5G?
