PHONE CALLS - Echo on other person's end

Hi guys, was wondering is anyone else having awful trouble when on a regular phone call, the person on the other end keeps complaining with a terrible echo? It is fine on my end but they say they keep hearing themselves?

Facing the same issue. Everyone complaining about the echo on the other end of call while my phone is kept on the desk vertically. Only solution is to put it horizontally which is very inconvenient. This is a flagship device and needs to be fixed asap.

Iam facing similar issues with my brand new Galaxy Note 20. When the caller and I both put our phones on speaker, the caller hears a repeat of what they speak. The issue happens more frequently with apps like DUO/Whatsapp than regular phone calls. The issue also seems to get worse when the phone is held vertically or when held close to the body.

Apart from the calls, when playing Youtube videos/Music on highest volume, the sound feels distorted. 

My old S9 has similar set of dual speakers but I never noticed any distortion.  It looks more like a hardware issue than a software issue.

Same issue  note 30 ultra 5g  massive echo thar goes if I use the speaker, happens all the time, every call, even if I restart phone.

My note 20 is a massive disappointment,  my note 8  9 and 10 were do much better.

I've had the same problem just lately. The only fix I have is using my galaxy Bluetooth ear buds. This has removed the echo. Can't use my phone without ear buds. What a joke

Same problem.  Terrible echo on the other end of my calls when on the phone.  Using speakerphone stops the echo.  I restarted in safe mode, deleted unnecessary apps, cleared caches.  No change. 

Does anyone have a solution?

I'm having the same problem, and it's really annoying an awkwardly, people thinking that the echo caused because I'm recording the call!

I am having the same issue. I'm not sure if this is related but mine started a couple weeks after I got a Samsung watch 4. Really hoping that somebody finds a solution. Very very frustrating. I have Samsung S21 Plus.

There doesn't seem to be a solution except Change Brands. So I am. I was loyal to Samsung. No support for my issue of echoing phone when I am driving using Hands-free, for safety purposes.  Don't expect me to be a loyal customer anymore either.
