Note 20 Ultra Edge Lighting missing!?!?

I upgraded from a Note 8 to a Note 20 Ultra and one of the features I liked using a lot was Edge Lighting. It was very useful to me, outer screen ring would light up a different color to let me know what kind of notification I got.

But now, that function its missing from the Note 20 Ultra? The S20 line up has it but not Note??? I did a quick search here and someone said to download "Good Luck" from the Samsung App store and once downloaded to install "EdgeLighting +" so I did and even that App doesn't display the Edge Lighting option to download to our phones. I can clearly see it listed in  the App images description but now in the actual app once download to the phone

Are we ever going to get that feature???

If you have updated to one UI 3.0, the setting is different coming from one UI 2.5. In one UI 3.0 you go to your settings, and then notifications. In notifications pop up style, select brief pop up and then brief pop up settings there you will find Edge lighting... Here are screenshots. Hope this helps

Very helpful! NOTE: if you have detailed preview selected the options won't show.  Disappointed you can't use with a detailed notification.  Also, it doesn't show when you search for the setting.

Totally agreed! if I want the screen to wake up while notification pops up, then I gotta select brief pop-up in settings, then I couldn't have a detailed preview of the messages...

Hi! When using the edge lighting before updating there used to be an option for which apps got it and ways to customize the lighting, but I can't find it anymore. Do you know where it is?

I'm a very technical person, and I noticed my edge lighting was missing also and you know how girls are they like stuff like that lol. I tried the settings, they're right there and very easy, yet it will not turn on! Even customer support could only give me the same solution you did. I really miss it is there any other way to get it back? The settings are perfect and I have it set to glitter. I only need it for texting. And the texting I use is Textra. And it has always worked with the colors. So I'm stumped. And my phone is the Samsung Galaxy Note 20 ultra 5G

Hi you need to check your settings. Maybe you've enabled Remove animations.
If you have this enabled your Edge lighting won't work.

So to disable this go into your settings, scroll down to accessibility then visibility enhancement and you can toggle that off.
Then go back to my previous comments and you have your Edge lighting working...
