I to have been having terrible experiences with the battery life. My note 9 lasted 2 times longer and my 11 pro max was easily 5 times longer. My note 20 within a hour of full charge im down to 80%. Hopefully software updates fix this issue. I mostly just use Facebook and Pokémon go for a couple of minutes. Also the battery draind like crazy even with screen off.

have you noticed any issue regarding the dust or fog in the camera lenses

Just something I have noticed.
Installed a cpu temp monitoring app on my note 8 and note 20 ultra and left the camera app open for just 3 minutes.
The note 8 stayed at a stable 32 degrees celsius while the note 20 was at 40 and still slowly climbing up.
According to the monitoring app, even giving just a tap on the screen spiked all 8 cpu cores to 60-70% load. I can just imagine what happens if you are actively scrolling in the browser or any other app.
In the 3 minutes with the camera app open, my note 8 only dropped 1% battery on 50% brightness and the note 20 dropped 6% at about 10-15% brightness.
Both are in dark mode, with the same default apps disabled in background, same network etc. Only the note 8 is full of apps and the note 20 is still clean except for the monitoring app + package disabler. Setting it to 60hz seemed to help a bit on the cpu usage when tapping/scrolling the screen (exact same page), but not enough to make a real difference. And even then, what is the point of buying a €1300 phone if you need to turn everything off just to be able to use throughout the day.
When a 3 year old note 8 lasts longer and stays cooler, you know something is wrong. This is the S20 all over again.

Yes, I have benchmarked a few things against the Note 8 and it is the same or better in pretty much everything apart from the camera of course. Display is brighter and has more colour, battery charges in the same time, battery life on the Note 8 taking in to account the bigger size in the Note 20 is better.
The only thing better than the Note 8 is the camera detail, but that's not worth £1179 unfortunately.
The display and battery life in the Note 20 Ultra is a major disappointment.

The soc is the exact same on the s20s so it is expectable that the note 20s will have the same behaviour.... unfortunately...

Except it wasn't THIS bad for me when I still had my S20 ultra. After going through the same list of tweaks, the battery life was at least somewhat decent on the S20 ultra and while it did get hot, it did not get as hot as this note 20 is for me(unless playing a game of course).
I hope that they'd at least manage to fix this somehow. I don't want to go through the trouble of sending it back again...

battery life should improve within 2 weeks but if I were you given the smaller battery i would expect less battery life at 60hz, and sligthly more than the s20U at 120hz due to adaptive refresh rate
