Solved: New write in field

Urgh my phone has just updated. Now I have to write in the teeny field in whatsapp rather than a nice big box. It's just awful

Ithink I fixed it ! when I was writing the last message I thought " I wonder if the s.Pen settings have changed" I'd already checked the language and keyboard settings but never thought to check that. Sure enough there is a setting called " S pen to text" that was on by default so I've turned it off and voila!

This is what I get if I dont use the s. pen which is what used to happen for all messages. now when I use the S. pen I sometimes get an options box that allows me to open a small key board but sometimes not even that.
