Is Samsung cheating? Why less RAMs?

Hi

I was about to buy a Note20 ultra but found out that those in Turkey only have 8GB of ram where in the other countries they actually have 12gb.

This is not mentioned on the website and it was the support team actually told me.

In terms of price, it is still an expensive phone for no discount becsuse of less ram. 

So why samsung is doing this? What is the actual reason behind note20 ultra in turkey having less rams? Why? I dont get it.

its strange why you only have 8 instead of 12 ram try an app to check your phone

This exactly what i m talking about. It says 12gb but in turkey they only sell with 8gb

I would check with an app but i dont own a note ultra yet. This is the reason i didnt order.

This is similar to the exynos and snapdragon debate about the note 20 ultra. I have had a variety of notes from the note 3, note Edge, note 8, note 9 and now note 20 ultra 5g. I have never had a performance issue on any if these devices. further Samsung would not package a note with 8gb Ram if the device would suffer slowdown etc. I have watched many videos about the RAM and to my knowledge the note 20 has 8gb RAM and the Ultra has 12gb RAM

Yes, technically it should be like that. But the ultra has 8gb. I got this info from samsung turkey support by the way.

hi mate checked again ivdo think the customer service guy told you wrong are made a mistake the note 20 ultra in Turkey comes with 12gb not 8gb he's prob talking about the notec 20 8gb

I just checked the details on the biggest mobile provider here, on their websites it also says 8gb

Thank you the your reply, i understand what you re saying. 

For me it is not the question of performance, i dont understand why it would be 8gb only when in other countries it has 12gb.

Why should i get less.
