Heating Galaxy Note 20 Ultra

Is anyone experiencing heating handset when making phone calls? My earpiece area gets hot and starts crackling after sometime. There are times my call goes into speaker mode without me activating it. Is it something I should be worried about?

I have a similar issue sometimes a buzzing in the esr from the phone

Same here. The buzzing noise goes off after restarting the handset however my calls cut off midpoint when it gets hot at times. Just had the handset 2 weeks now

That does not sound good at all !

 

Some have said that after a short while of using the phone the warming issue goes away but some have also said they are still experiencing problems.

 

Usually it's owners of the Exynos version.

 

My suggestion is to either seek support from a Samsung Experience Store or Samsung Service Centre or if your within any relevant cooling off period have the phone swapped out.

I hardly ever use my phone for calls (I know how stupid that sounds) but if that happens, then it is going back for warranty replacement or repair

Was it just a return for refund and repurchase or was it dealt with under warranty?

Which department did you return to and were sent a new one from?

Tech support/Warranty said they can only repair and can't replace to me.

The new replacement was sent due to the period I had the handset (2 weeks) The tech team ordered the replacement through EE
