Gmail Not Pushing Notifications

Anyone noticed Gmail not pushing notifications this week? Only noticed as there's an issue with the Watch 4 not alerting to Gmail so I'm paying more attention to it.

It is set to optimised in the battery settings but then it always has been on my Note 20 Ultra so I can't see that being the issue.

Idk, Samsung has messed the Gmail notifications since 2016. They said they would fix it.

@SteveyJ Hello, try this: long press on the Gmail / iboton icon, the three dots at the top right / Uninstall updates. Update and configure again. Greetings.

@SteveyJ Check that the Gmail app is not in Sleeping apps or Deep sleeping apps: Device care / BatteryBackground usage limits.

Samsung are aware of this issue and the last firmware did not fix it...we still await a fix from Samsung.....I have spoken with them 3 times about this.....always get the same generic response......and never an actual solution
