Galaxy Note20 SeriesI have a week old Samsung Note 20 Ultra 5g. I had the Samsung Smart Switch to transfer all internal files and used my existing SD card back to save all images in the "Camera Folder". Suddenly, now the whole camera folder is gone. Other images folders in my SD card are still intact. I have checked the camera settings and it is set to save in SD card. I don't have back up in Samsung Cloud for my SD card files since there are still a huge space in my card. There is no recent activities or deleted items in the "Trash" folder both in gallery and in SD card. I run device care and it didn't shows any issues. I rebooted my phone, eject and then re-insert the SD Card but to no avail. There is no .nomedia file as well in case it is hiding the media files.
Does anyone knows how to recover all the lost images in the "Camera folder"? I got a thousand plus photos of family memories, events and travels and it pains me to just have lost it. I really need help on this. =(

Galaxy Note20 SeriesHi JerryS, yup I tried checking the recycle bin from the gallery app and the recycle bin in the SD card. No recent deleted items within the past 15 days.

Galaxy Note20 SeriesHello CrazyFruits, I also tried but the "Camera Folder" which is the auto saved folder for camera photos is the only missing folder in SD card. The rest of my files or renamed folders with other images are intact. =(

Galaxy Note20 SeriesI am extremely pissed at #SAMSUNG , this ***** phone erased over 100 gbs oof data included the last pictures I had on my mom, (she passed away last Christmas) , before I could do a back up it self erased most of the data I had stored in my sd card, people at the time was recommending included SAMSUNG to buy an original Samsung sd card, so I did, I followed procedure to install and format a new sd card, and a couple oof days ago I made the horrible mistake of transfering all data from my phone that got full to my sd card and the minute the ***** phone said "transfer successful" or something to that effect, the SOB phone erased most of the data "again" I tried a couple of different recovery programs and error fixing programs to no avail, and at this moment I still have data on my sd card and I copied everything (4) different times to external drives to salvage whatever data or corrupted pictures I could salvage, all four different times the info was successfully transfered and all four times the data from the sd card dissapeared , while the data from the internal storage remain, no problems, no errors, no corrupted data.
needless to say I am no longer using the external sd storage and I will never buy another SAMSUNG product, I spent a couple of hours with samsung tech support and the rep had no clue as how to follow the problem, I and I cant really blaim him, I am an engineer and I have never seen this problem before, but I do blaim samsung because when you pay this much for a phone you expect quality.
my theory is either somebody (agency) install a malware or patch of software or malware either on the phones or sd cards.
so far I have found "nothing"
