GALAXY NOTE 20 ULTRA 5G N9860 (HONG KONG VERSION)

I bought GALAXY NOTE 20 ULTRA 5G N9860 from Hong Kong, i'm using it in Qatar, 5g network not working.

My sim card is active and i'm living in 5g covered area.

I tried in sim 1 tray and in sim 2 tray, stil same issue.

Anyone can help to solve this problem??

Call them and tell them to disconnect your line and reconnect it. thats how I fixed mine

I call them but they can't disconnect and reconnect, they did reset for network but still the same problem

Hmm thats weird. I knew it wasn't my phone and it was the network provider because I had two 5g devices that didn't have working 5g that's why I insisted that my network provider fix it as it was from their end.

It looks like Hong Kong is using different 5G frequencies to Qatar, so its high likely that you won't be able to use 5G connectivity until you going to change you phone to suitable version for your region.

@Ghas You can't use TGY variant here for 5G. You don't have sufficient band for a 5G network. I came to UK from Hong Kong with a TGY S20 variant, then I switched over to the BTU Note20 just for 5G and 4G+ connection

about ur phone is ok its from last update it will make the 5g off even if the option is on wait till next update and we will found
