The latest update has removed the 2 button dialler option for dual sims. I only see 1 dialler button.

How have they messed this up?

Requesting Samsung Support to fix this issue IMMEDIATELY or ASAP!!!

Please bring back the dual SIM buttons for Calls and Messeges!! Here is another reason why?

When sending text message, after typing your message and right before clicking send if you realize you are on the wrong SIM, then you get the following alert!!! See attached.....and if you dont want to discard your draft message, then you have to cancle, copy and then switch and then paste.....this is absolutely ridiculous!!!! We use to have a choice right at our finger tips to use SIM 1 or 2 for calls and messages!!!!

Btw, why do we need to wait for thousands of Likes to our posts for Samsung Support to resolve this major issue???! Please, just fix!!!

This new update to Android 11 has just made things so difficult for me. I got a lot of work to do and taking the extra time to look for dial buttons is not frustrating. I can't do video calls any longer using my local network.

Please bring back those functions. We expect you Samsung to upgrade and not degrade. I have advised all.my colleagues not to do the upgrade.

Hi Steve - I agree with you and will advise my friends not to upgrade until Samsung fixes this issue. Btw, check out my post on Monday, same thread but showing screenshot of same issue when sending text and realizing I'm on the wrong SIM....I hope Samsumg Support / Offering Management are reading our posts and working on a solution....it would be nice if they would reply to us.....I will try calling them today and hopefully others will also call in and bring this to their attention

It's even worse on SMSes. There's no "always ask" option therefore you just click send icon and hope it will send from the correct sim.

So while we wait for Samsung to fix this MAJOR issue for ALL Samsung DUAL SIM devices....well I found the solution to get back my Dual SIM1 + SIM2 buttons for calls and messeges on my NOTE 10+.....FACTORY RESET will revert back to Android 10, UI 2.5 and Security patch Dec 1 2020

Unfortunately, this will not work on S21, S20, Note 20 models, since a factory reset would just load UI 3.0 and Dual SIM buttons for calls and messages would still be missing

I have always installed software updates as soon as they vet released to my device becuase I always trusted Samsung....but now I do not trust Samsung and this is the first time, my device is behind,  forced to hold off on software updates until Samsung eventually realizes their biggest mistake and fixes this issue.....now I have to waste my time and monitor and thoroughly review the notes and comments of each software update.

we all here are so loyal to Samsung investing $1000-2000 USD per device ... but where is Samsung when you need them the most?!!!

There used to be 2 buttons; one for sim1 en the other for sim2.

Therefore on older Samsung phones it is a lot easier to make a phone call. Especially when you make a lot of calls during the day. Some with sim1 and some with sim2. One button is less user friendly. The caller often has to make an extra interaction with the phone, which is totally unnecessary.

I hope they will roll this back one day to how it was before.
