Galaxy Note20 SeriesHi,
On the Note20, how do I stop Google Assist prompting for a voice command if I swipe down on the screen?
I do not want to disable Google Assist, only the swipe down activation feature. There are very few pixels between pulling down the top menu and activating Google Assist voice prompt and my fat fingers often trigger the former.
There are numerous search engine hits on disabling Google Assist or Google Assist Gesture, which don't work, which are so old they make no sense or deactivate importantant functionality.
For example:
Settings > Apps > Default apps (Three dots) > Assist App > Device assistance app > None.
All this does is de-active voice activation when the phone is locked. It doesn't stop the swipe activation.
