Create notes in full screen open air command

Hi all, wonder if someone knows how to change this. When I pull out the s pen it automatically goes into open air command, when I choose 'create note' it always opens up in a small window. Is there a setting to make this note open up in full screen every time without having to maximize the note?

Conversely, if I open up from the Samsung notes app this always opens up the note in full screen every time, but that seems like extra unnecessary clicks to get what I'm after 😕 

I've been looking at the settings but can't find what I'm looking for, is this the same for everyone? Thank you!

It is also the same on mine. It must be a new thing as I'm pretty sure it use to open up full screen. I mean if you click on the little blue bar, line at the top you can open it to full screen.

yeah I thought it used to do that as well but wasn't certain of I was imagining it 😂 I know about maximizing the note but it just seemed like extra steps when you would want it to open up in full screen. thanks for checking👍

ok I think the solution is to drag the edges to make the window bigger, similarly to a windows 10 pc, then when you exit the app it should remember the size and next time open the same size

thanks, I read that somewhere and kept trying that but it never remembers that I like it in the biggest size and always opens up in the same smaller size.
oh well maybe it's just the way it is then..

I have a note 10+ on 3 ui and the resize method does work for me, I just use the back arrow to quit out of the note app after resizing

thanks for checking, it doesn't seem to want to save the setting for me, strange. would have been nice to have but can work round it..

Click on upper top middle edge of the note until a blue horizontal small line appears. Click it and select controls options including maximize screen .

Hi samsung notes will open In full screen on the lock screen and when your device is unlocked it will open in minimised box, dragging the box to make it bigger and then closing the app will store the selected size. Hope this helps.
