Contacts scroll down alphabetical option.

Could anyone help with how to bring back the alphabet option whilst scrolling down contacts  on the right hand side rather than seeing dots? Seems to have disappeared during Android 12 upgrade.

Right hand side of contacts, used to have alphabetical selection option whilst scrolling. Now just dots /blank.

Android 12/one-UI4 update made a bit of mess but you can place your finger on those dots and scroll alphabet will appear

I asked the same question and they have no answer. The note 20 has finished me for samsung now and I've had one 10 yrs

Wish they would bring this feature back. When you have a big list of numbers and people it makes it easier to find the person you are looking for. Hoping Samsung realizes what a need this is for all of us Samsung users.
