Cannot open links in Gmail when using work profile

If I try to open links that are attached to emails that go to my work profile, It doesn't open. I tried forwarding the same email to my personal email and the links open like normal. The work profile somehow is preventing the link to open. It's a bit frustrating having to forward the work email to a personal email just to see the links.

Can you try heading to Settings > Apps > Tap the 3 dots in the top right > Default Apps > Browser app, and change this to another option. Furthermore, tap on 'Opening Links' and toggle on 'Open Links In Apps'. Let me know if this helps.

I had the same problem, I found the fix to be pulling up the Work profile apps from the app manager, and downloading chrome from the Google play store on the work profile side of the app manager(with the little briefcase in the corner of the icon). Now I am able to open links thru my work gmail. Hope this helps as I couldn't find any other forums answering this question.
