the S20 range of devices has a terrible focus issue. I'm on the S20+ and when on 3:4 64mp it cannot focus on a static item, that is well lit while the phone is on a tripod. previously, it was like that with all modes, but after making numerous reports, they're slowly "fixing " my issues. 3:4 64mp is still terrible and as it stands the s9 camera i had was way beter. Report it to Samsung using the chat system in this app. They will tell you to take it to a service centre, but don't let them fob you off with that. highlight that EVERY S20 series user has focus issues with their device and unless a service centre will rewrite and flash new Firmware/software it is a pointless trip
its a joke mty s6 s7 s8 and s9 were far superior camera wise to the s10 s20 and note 20, they're riddled with camera problems a quick Google search will show that, im over scamsung they take hard earned money and then promise updates but none come out and we get stuck with the best camera on the market for a phone that was basically a lie on reviews
I have had the S20 ultra a couple of months. Camera glass cracked without a fall. Fixed at a cost of £69.99. I am now having serious issues with the focus on the camera. I have to say; buying this phone would appear to have been a mistake. I certainly wouldn't recommend it to others and I'm likely to go back to Apple.
My Note 20 Ultra does exactly the same thing! Thought it was just me. Tried using manual zoom instead of the 2x, 3x and 4x presets... still doesn't focus. Lense protector on it, but it doesn't cover any of the lenses or sensor. I'm fed up with paying so much money for Samsung phones and having to put up with niggles that Samsung say don't exist.
My partner's Note 10 camera works far better than this does.
Tried Samsung themselves, but they say take it into a Support Centre or request doorstep support. Has anyone else had a different response?
