There are many forums and websites online that claim it is possible but will drain a lot of battery. Here is a website actually showing a method to do it https://thetecheaven.com/get-120hz-refresh-rate-with-qhd-for-galaxy-note-20-ultra/

So has anyone actually managed to do this or is it just a bluff?

I have seen ways of adjusting the adaptive refresh rate but not the method you highlight @AMRKHN

To be honest i can't really tell much difference between the two display options but I can tell the difference between refresh rates.

Adding or changing what you highlight I'm sure would have an impact on battery life. How much would have to be experienced to see.

The advice I offer is my own and does not represent Samsung’s position.
I'm here to help. " This is the way. "
