Hi All

I have a question about Text Messages status.

Using the Samsung Text Message app, between a Samsung Note 10 and Samsung 20 Series Phones, what is the difference between the status of Received and Delivered.

Reason for asking is trying to work out why there is a difference for a contact.

Regards

Hey @UK_LDN_2021 ,

that may be down to the use of Chat Features. Keep in mind that this service is only available when both persons (the one sending and the one receiving the message) have this enabled. Otherwise, it goes as a normal SMS, hence the difference.

By the way, received or sent means you have answered and the message has reached the other person. In other words, the message has been received but not yet read by the other person. Whereas, delivered means the message has been sent and has been viewed by the person.
